I cannot believe it's already almost time for our next ball!
St. Louis Princess Ball is less than two weeks away! I couldn't be more excited for this one.
We made friends and danced the day away in Kansas City, and now we get to go do it again!
One thing that I am really excited about this time around is our venue. The Barnett on Washington in downtown St. Louis is our venue and it. is. GORGEOUS.
My favorite part is the beautiful stair cases on either side of the entrance. I know the children (and myself included) will be awestruck when the princesses come waltzing down those stairs.
The Barnett has also graciously offered their golden chairs for our use for this event - just because they said it would fit our theme! I was blown away by their kindness.
For me, personally, I think venue is so so important. I have seen similar princess balls being held in hotel ballrooms or conference centers - and for me, that just isn't royal enough. When planning these events, sometimes, I just stop and close my eyes and think about my childhood. What would 5-year-old Joy have loved? What would have made this event truly royal for her? What would make it believable? And when I do that, I see clearly that the venue must be beautiful. It must be Cinderella's Ballroom like the ones in the movies.
That is why we rent wedding venues almost exclusively - even though it costs us more to do so. I am all about classy, upscale events. A chance for both mom & dad to get dressed up, and for the children to believe they are meeting REAL royalty. I am committed to quality, and so excited to share it with you. <3
We hope you can join us at a princess ball someday and experience the magic for yourself.
